Raynel Delgado's RBI single in 9th inning leads Columbus Clippers past Toledo Mud Hens

Saturday's game: Columbus 7, Toledo 6

Recap: The Clippers scored two runs in the ninth inning to record their third win in four games to open up the second half of the season. Oscar Gonzalez opened the ninth with a single. After Zack Collins was retired on a flyout, Gonzalez moved to second on George Valera's walk. Jhonkensy Noel then doubled home Gonzalez. Micah Pries reached on a fielder's choice, but Valera was thrown out at home by Toledo first baseman Andre Lipcius. Raynel then ended the game with an RBI single, scoring Noel. Gonzalez, Noel, Pries and Delgado had two hits each for Columbus, and Chris Roller homered. Clippers starter Daniel Norris allowed one run in four innings, striking out four.
