Ravens HC John Harbaugh shares how WR Zay Flowers looked on field at rookie minicamp

When the Baltimore Ravens drafted receiver Zay Flowers in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, they were looking to improve a position needed players that could provide an explosive impact.  Flowers can be that player, as he’s got the athletic ability to take the ball to the end zone on any given play, but also can take a hit and dish one out as well.

Head coach John Harbaugh was asked about what he saw from Flowers on the field at the team’s rookie minicamp, and had high praise for the rookie. Harbaugh mentioned how Flowers looked “just as advertised”, and gave out multiple compliments on the aspects of the wideout’s game that stood out.

“Yes, just if you go through maybe all the Draft guys. Zay [Flowers] looks just as advertised: quick, good hands, very smart. [He is] picking things up really quickly, playing every position right now across the board with what we’ve installed. It’s just the first two install days, but I’d say everything that you expected to see, you saw. [He is] catching the ball well.”
