Ravens HC John Harbaugh gives key follow up injury update on WR Rashod Bateman

The Baltimore Ravens have seen wide receiver Rashod Bateman deal with a plethora of injuries over the course of his two-year NFL career. He missed time in training camp of his rookie season after undergoing core muscle surgery, and underwent season-ending foot surgery in the middle of his second professional season.

Bateman didn’t participate in mandatory minicamp due to a cortisone injection in his foot, causing worry among many as to what his status could be moving forward. On Wednesday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh gave a much-needed follow up injury update on Bateman, saying that the receiver had a second surgery to remove the hardware from his foot, and the shot was used to ease discomfort.
