Raptors at Rockets: Monday’s lineups, injury reports and broadcast info

With frustrations starting to boil over, the Houston Rockets (11-30) will quickly have another opportunity to end their historic losing streak when the Toronto Raptors (17-25) visit Toyota Center on Monday night.

Sunday’s heartbreaking loss to Oklahoma City was Houston’s 20th straight overall, which puts the current Rockets among the 10 worst losing streaks in NBA history. Playing the very next night probably won’t help the cause for Stephen Silas, since Houston has a handful of veterans who often sit out for planned maintenance in back-to-back scenarios.

According to Monday’s injury report, Victor Oladipo — Houston’s second-leading scorer among active players — will sit out for injury management, as he typically does in these situations. Kevin Porter Jr., who has battled right quadriceps soreness in recent days, is questionable.

As expected, Eric Gordon (groin), David Nwaba (wrist), and Dante Exum (calf) remain out with longer-term injuries.

Here’s when you should tune in to see Monday’s game:

  • Date: Monday, March 22

  • Time: 8 p.m. Central

  • TV Channel: AT&T SportsNet Southwest

  • Live stream: fuboTV (watch for free in Houston markets)

Probable starting lineups

Houston Rockets (11-30)

Toronto Raptors (17-25)

The limited consolation for Houston is that Toronto will likely be fatigued, as well, having lost in Cleveland on Sunday night. They’re also on a eight-game losing streak of their own, which means that someone’s prolonged skid will finally come to an end on Monday night. Unlike the Rockets, Toronto will not have any injury or maintenance absences.

Fittingly, the last team the Raptors beat was the Rockets, who lost by 11 on Feb. 26 in Tampa. That was loss No. 10 of the current run, which enters Monday at 20 games and without any immediate end in sight.
