Analysis

It's clear the Hurricanes have been right in it all series long. Each game has been decided by one goal, with New York coming out on top in both games that were decided in overtime.

The difference has been Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin. He's only gotten better as this series has progressed, making a whopping 99 combined saves in Games 2 and 3, and sports a dominant .935 save percentage and 2.01 goals against average (GAA) in these playoffs.

Carolina hasn't been able to get the big-time goals or saves when they've needed them nor have they solved Shesterkin, and that won't change in Game 4.

My prediction is the Blueshirts will stay undefeated in the postseason, shutting out the Hurricanes in both Game 4 and this series, earning a second consecutive sweep and plenty of rest as they await the winner of Boston-Florida in the Eastern Conference finals.
