Rams-Raiders brawl causes practice to be called 45 minutes early

The Rams and Raiders made it very clear in the last two days of practice that they don’t like each other much – at all. After Wednesday’s practice was halted several times due to players getting into it after the whistle and scuffling on the field, Thursday’s session was even worse.

About an hour and 15 minutes into practice, which was scheduled to last two hours, things got ugly. A huge fight broke out between the two teams, with punches being thrown. After the two sides were separated, the Raiders headed to their buses and left the Rams’ facility, cutting practice short by 45 minutes.

According to Levi Damien of Raiders Wire, Yannick Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby were at the center of it for the Raiders, taking exception to something that happened during the play.

Jalen Ramsey, the masterful trash talker that he is, was also getting into it with Derek Carr, exchanging some words before Carr hit Bryan Edwards with a pass on the next play.

Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal caught a video of the Raiders’ players heading to the bus after practice was cut short.
