Raiders cut Roderic Teamer after DUI arrest

Marcus Peters isn't the only defensive back that the Raiders let go on Monday.

Head coach Antonio Pierce confirmed Peters' departure and announced that the team has also waived safety Roderic Teamer during a Monday press conference.

Teamer was activated from injured reserve on Saturday, but did not play on Sunday against the Chiefs because he was arrested for DUI on Sunday morning. That is unlikely to help his immediate chances of landing with another team and Teamer, who was previously suspended for a substance abuse policy violation, will likely face league discipline down the road.

Teamer had five tackles in six games with the Raiders this season.
