Raiders DE Chandler Jones arrested in Las Vegas
Chandler Jones has been in the news over the last few days after several social media posts that have made unsubstantiated claims about members of the front office and the coaching staff. On Thursday morning, he was reportedly arrested, according to TMZ Sports.
It’s unclear why Jones has been arrested as the details are still not yet known. But according to the report, Jones remains behind bards at the Clark County Jail. The Raiders put Jones on the non-football injury list two weeks ago, which means that he was scheduled to miss at least four games.
Jones has not practiced with the team during the regular season as he was sent away after several social media posts criticizing the ownership and front office of the Raiders.
Jones signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Raiders during the 2022 offseason. He recorded 4.5 sacks in his first season with the team, starting 15 games with the team.
