Purdue basketball gets commitment from 4-star forward Raleigh Burgess

WEST LAFAYETTE − Purdue basketball landed a commitment from Raleigh Burgess on Monday.

The 6-10 Class of 2024 forward is listed as a four-star recruit by most major scouting sites.

Burgess announced his commitment on his Instagram account.

The Cincinnati native averaged 14 points per game this season for Sycamore High School. Among Burgess' 19 reported offers were six Big Ten schools as well as Virginia, Xavier and Cincinnati. Burgess visited Purdue in September.

He joins a 2024 recruiting class that already includes two Indiana high school standouts in Brownsburg's Kanon Catchings and Brownstown Central's Jack Benter.
