Protester says Bobby Wagner’s tackle gave him a concussion

During Rams-49ers in Week 4, a protester ran onto the field with a flare in his hand. After security was unable to stop him, Bobby Wagner stepped in and laid out the fan, bringing him to the ground.

He filed a police report against Wagner, which TMZ obtained a copy of. In the report, the man claims he suffered a concussion.

“Mr. Taylor had a headache,” police said in the report, according to TMZ, “a concussion without loss of consciousness, and a burn on his inner right bicep.”

After the incident occurred and Wagner was told of the report filed against him, he said he wasn’t focused on it.

“Can’t really focus on it,” Wagner said. “I’m more concerned about the security guard that was hurt trying to chase him. … You just got to do what you got to do.”

The man who ran onto the field was an activist for an animal rights group and was raising awareness for “a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm.”
