PREP SPORTS: Good Hope's Maddox named Athlete of the Week
Jan. 24—Ivey Maddox is making the most of her senior season.
The Good Hope standout torched the nets in recent wins over Priceville, Marion County and East Lawrence — registering 29, 22 and 21 points to help the Class 4A, No. 2 Raiders improve to 22-2.
Maddox, a UAH signee, also averaged 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 deflections in those three victories.
She is The Times' Athlete of the Week.
