Mar. 20—Visiting Casey rallied from a three-run deficit to tie the score Tuesday, but West Vigo added two more tallies for a 5-3 win in the Vikings' high school softball opener.
The 1-0 Vikings will host Terre Haute North on Thursday.

—Effingham St. Anthony 14, Robinson 2 — At Robinson, Ill., the visiting Bulldogs scored 12 runs in the first three innings of a nonconference win Tuesday.
Julian Parker had a two-run single for the Maroons, now 2-2. ESA is now 2-0-1.
