PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: A-P takes down Salt Fork and Geo-RF
Dec. 28—BROADLANDS — The Armstrong-Potomac basketball team made its mark in the Heritage side of the BSN Classic.
The Trojans ended the second day with an 3-1 overall record after beating Salt Fork 34-31 and Georgetown-Ridge Farm 52-35.
Kollin Asbury had 16 points to lead Armstrong-Potomac against Salt Fork, while James Huisinga added seven points.
Ty Smoot had nine points for the Storm, while Jameson Remole had eight and Kamdyn Keller added six.
Against the Buffaloes, Asbury had 18 points, while Huisinga had 13 and Nathan Rogers and Luke Townsend each had six points.
Jase Latoz had nine points to lead Georgetown-Ridge Farm, while William Runyan had seven and A'John Watson, Sawyer Willis and JJ Hall each had four points.
With the record, the Trojans will play the winner of the Bismarck side of the Classic on Friday for the BSN Classic Championship at 7 p.m.
