Pregame buzz for Auburn’s game against Cal
It is once again time for some Auburn football. The Tigers are set to face the Cal Golden Bears Saturday night in Berkley, California.
The Auburn fanbase is still riding the high of last week’s dominant win over UMass and is hoping for another strong showing from their Tigers. It will be much tougher task though, Cal is also coming off of a big win and is looking to make a statement against an SEC opponent.
Several members of ESPN’s “College GameDay” crew think the Golden Bears can pull off the upset. Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and guest picker Joe Namath all picked Cal while Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit both picked Auburn.
With the game being at Cal, it won’t start until 9:30 p.m. CT, making Auburn fans wait even longer to watch their team. Despite having to wait a little longer than normal, the Auburn fanbase is excited to watch their Tigers and took to social media to celebrate, here is a look at the top posts.
