The first Friday night of the 2023 Alabama high school football season is days away with kickoff starting Aug. 24, with the AHSAA Kickoff Classic at the Cramton Bowl.
The road to the December Super 7 state championship begins this week. And for teams playing in region openers, week zero can have some early playoff implications. The top four finishers in each region qualify for the playoffs, regardless of region size.
