APPLETON - Post-Crescent photojournalist William Glasheen took one of the 10 best feature photos of the 2021-22 NFL season, as selected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame 54th Annual Photo Contest.

Glasheen's photo of Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Arthur Maulet from the teams' Oct. 3 game at Lambeau Field received honorable mention in the judging by a panel of photo editors and photojournalists.

"I love that the photo selected was a small moment. They're my favorite," Glasheen said.

"It's both an honor and a humbling experience to have your work judged by your peers. Even more so to see your name on the list of incredibly talented photographers whose work was selected."

Glasheen has worked at The Post-Crescent since 2009 and has been previously honored in the Hall of Fame contest, as well as receiving numerous other awards for his work.

"For Bill to capture that exact moment in time, with the look on both players' faces, is remarkable," Post-Crescent editor Larry Gallup said. "He does remarkable work every day, both for The Post-Crescent and for his community. We're lucky to have him."
