Port Clinton girls qualify two relays to state
Oak Harbor's Rylee McKitrick won the 100 at 12.29 seconds at the Division II regional track meet at Lexington.
Molly Downs, Jaclyn Croy, McKitrick and Effie Schulte were fourth in the 4x100 at 49.76. McKitrick was fifth in the 200 at 25.76.
Port Clinton's Claudia Gillum, Shianne Lieske, Jade Mitchell and Alexis Shelton were second in the 4x100 at 49.41. Gillum, Mitchell, Gracie Rohrer and Shelton were third in the 4x200 at 1:44.96.
Bellevue's Ella Rucker was fourth in the 100 hurdles.
The top four in each event qualify to state.
Wyatt Augsburger, Judson Overmyer, Blake Nickel and Owen Miller were second in the 4x400 at 3:24.63 as Oak Harbor's boys finished second to Perkins by two points.
Miller was third in the 400 at 49.55, Augsburger third in the 300 hurdles at 40.18 and Evan Hall third in the shot put at 54-11. Garry Brooks, Overmyer, Miller and Hayden Buhro were third in the 4x200 relay at 1:29.27.
Buhro was fourth in the 100 at 10.97 and Will Rahm fourth in the pole vault at 13-08.
Clyde's Payton Aldrich, Jake Plummer, Zane Townsley and Damarius Chrisman were fifth in the 4x200 relay at 1:30.21.
Division III at Fostoria
Cooper Tigges, Cam Sosa, Kaine Smetzer and Gage Bodey won the 4x100 at 43.45, and Tigges, Tate Bailey, Smetzer and Bodey took the 4x200 at 1:30.64 as Margaretta finished third.
JT Patrick was second in the shot put at 57-01 and fourth in the discus at 164. Bodey was third in the 200 at 22.75 and Tigges was fifth in the 100 at 11.51.
Lakota's Braxton Quaintance was third in the pole vault at 14. Lucas McEwan was fourth in the 300 hurdles at 40.10.
St. Joseph Central Catholic's Sam Paeth was fourth in the pole vault at 13-04.
Old Fort's Aidan Chapman was fifth in the 400 at 51.71.
Azure Travis won the 100 hurdles at 15.01 and 300 hurdles at 45.03 as Woodmore's girls finished fourth. Emma Hammer was second in the 800 at 2:16.35.
Jordan Beam, Hammer, Olivia Vogelpohl and Caydie Buchanan were second in the 4x800 at 9:40.89. Rahzia Rios was third in the 400 at 58.70 and Vogelpohl third in the 1,600 at 5:10.
Rios, Hammer, Vogelpohl and Travis were third in the 4x400 at 3:57.37.
Jennifer Patrick won the discus at 144-05 and shot put at 40-08 as Margaretta finished second. Olivia Saylor was second in the 400 at 58.31 and Alayna Biehl second in the pole vault at 10-08.
Biehl, Julia Berg, Dani Grunden and Macyn Phillips were second in the 4x100 at 50.33 and Biehl, Saylor, Berg and Phillips were second in the 4x200 at 1:44.77.
Anna Gasser was fourth in the 100 hurdles at 16.11. Berg, Phillips, Grace Paseka and Saylor were fourth in 4x400 at 4:02.68.
Gibsonburg's Brianna Montgomery was second in the 300 hurdles at 46.04.
Lakota's Aubrey Vitte was fifth in the 100 at 12.86.
