Keeping the Faith: Faith Christian's first field hockey team is headed to the playoffs

  • Drew Brill, La Salle: The Explorers’ senior took home gold in the PCL Cross Country Championships, finishing with a time of 16:14.36 in the boys varsity race and helping La Salle secure a seventh straight team title.

  • Jack Czarnecki, Council Rock North: The CR North senior won the SOL Patriot Division championship, racing to the finish line with a 15:53.70 time in the boys varsity race. The time was the second fastest overall among the four SOL divisions and a personal best for Czarnecki.

  • Thijs Popma, Central Bucks South: In a matchup between the two top teams in the SOL Colonial, Pompa converted a penalty kick that gave CB South a 1-0 win over Pennridge and clinched the division title.

  • Tyler Schmidt, Conwell-Egan: In a PCL quarterfinal game, Schmidt scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory against No. 2 Archbishop Wood to send the 7th-seeded Eagles to the semifinals.
