Video Transcript

Jakob Poeltl returned to Toronto got off to a slow start as he came off the bench and immediately landed in foul trouble in a February 10th loss to the Jazz he wasn't much better in a win over the Pistons two nights later but Poeltl was outstanding in the Raptors February 14 win over the Magic shooting 15 for 17 from the field the seven Footer scored 30 points while also tallying nine rebounds two assists, one steal and 6 blocked shots with this effort Poeltl became the fourth player since the 1973 1974 season to reach the threshold of at least 30 points and 6 blocks while also shooting at least 85% from the field while much has been made of Toronto's ability to load its lineup with lengthy wings there was a clear need to address the center position at the trade deadline making Poeltl an excellent fit.
