'Please be okay': Fans, stars react to Joe Burrow training camp injury

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow left the practice field Thursday on a medical cart.

During the play in which it appears the injury occurred, Burrow was looking to pass and, not finding an open receiver, started rolling out of the pocket. With no one around him, he then began hopping on his left foot to protect the right leg, which had a sleeve on the calf. The medical staff then looked at him after he had gone down and started grabbing his calf.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor called it a calf issue and said they'll know more soon.

Fans and stars across the country sent their best wishes to the QB on social media.

"Prayers up for Joe Burrow," former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III tweeted.
