Plate and Cork: Eat, drink and be merry on Thanksgiving at these Palm Beach restaurants

As another pandemic-era Thanksgiving approaches, where will you be giving thanks?

If the island’s restaurateurs have anything to say about it, you’ll be seated at one of their tables on Nov. 25.

Many dining establishments in town already have finalized Thanksgiving menus — and their collective offerings equal a holiday cornucopia. Advance reservations are recommended or required. Some restaurants serving holiday specials also will offer their regular menus on Thanksgiving.

At The Breakers, a special three-course menu ($185 adults; $75 for children 12 and younger) will be served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Menu selections will include butter-basted turkey and pumpkin pie, plus surf-and-turf, bone-in filet and Key lime pie.

Henry's restaurant, The Breakers’ offsite restaurant on Royal Poinciana Way, will feature a special a la carte weekend brunch menu, Nov. 25-28. Fried chicken with red-velvet waffles, smoked salmon pizza, crab-cake Benedict and special cocktails are among the selections.

Among other resorts and hotels on the island, the Four Seasons will feature both brunch and dinner at its Florie’s restaurant, led by internationally known chef Mauro Colagreco.

Brunch ($195 adults; $75 children) will be offered from 12:30 to 4 p.m.; it will feature a seafood bar, interactive chef stations, turkey and decadent desserts. Dinner ($75) will feature a Mediterranean take on the holiday, with a three-course menu including such selections as turkey porchetta.

Look for a noon to 9 p.m. prix-fixe menu served poolside as well as indoors at Swifty’s at The Colony hotel. Roast turkey, vegetable-and-brie strudel, grilled salmon and apple-and-rhubard crumble are among the menu selections ($90).

A four-course menu ($99 a person; $35.95 children 12 and younger) is on tap at The Chesterfield.

The hotel’s Leopard Lounge & Restaurant will offer seatings at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.Selections include roast turkey, pan-seared salmon and pecan pie.

Cafe Boulud at The Brazilian Court is set to feature a three-course menu ($165 adults; $65 children 12 and younger). An organic turkey dinner, butternut squash risotto, Ora King salmon and heritage ham are among the entrée selections.

La Goulue will open early at 3 p.m. with a special a la carte holiday menu available during the evening as well.

A roast turkey meal ($46) will be offered with portobello mushroom-and-brioche stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, traditional gravy and a cranberry glaze, plus such dishes as butternut squash risotto with pecorino shavings ($32).

The turkey special at Le Bilboquet is $42 and will be served with vegetable stuffing, gravy, cranberry and choice of two side dishes (additional sides are $15),

Among the sides are roasted Brussels sprouts with applewood-smoked bacon and haricot verts casserole with almonds and shallots.

Cafe L'Europe has planned a special three-course menu for $150 for adults and $40 for children 12 and younger. Butternut squash bisque with Maryland jumbo crab meat, slow-roasted turkey with fixings, roasted halibut and filet of beef are among the menu selections.

Cranberry-brined roast turkey breast and warm chocolate chip-and-pecan tartlet are among the dailyThanksgiving specials Meat Market plans to offer. A mixed grill ($45) also will be offered with turkey breast, turkey leg roulade and wood-grilled veal tenderloin with raspberry butter and apricot chutney.

Cucina is set to roll out a turkey feast ($48 a person), including pumpkin pie cheesecake for dessert.

Roast turkey giblet gravy and cranberry sauce will be served with such sides as green-bean casserole, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies.

A three-course Thanksgiving menu at LoLa 41 is $75 a person. The restaurant at the White Elephant hotel will feature such dishes as citrus-marinated grilled boneless turkey with butternut squash puree and scallion-bacon-corn souffle.

Restaurant 44 has planned a three-course Thanksgiving dinner ($94 adults; $45 children 10 and younger) with seatings at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Guests can choose between roast turkey or honey-glazed ham as the main course served with side dishes served family style.

Look for other restaurants in town to feature Thanksgiving specials. Among them: Al Fresco, Almond, Bice, Bricktop’s, Buccan, Café Flora, Palm Beach Grill, Pizza al Fresco, Renato’s, Sant Ambroeus, Trevini and Ta-boo.
