Pisgah soccer hosts playoff game Monday
Oct. 31—Pisgah's boys soccer team (No. 14 seed) will host Foard (No. 19 seed) in round one of the 3A state playoffs at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at C.E. Weatherby Stadium in Waynesville.
Pisgah (12-3-3, 7-3-2 in Mountain 7) finished the season in second place in the conference. Pisgah went 2-0-1 in its last three games, with wins over Tuscola and East Henderson, as well as a tie with North Henderson.
Foard (8-11-3, 4-8-2 in Western Foothills), located in Newton, opened the season 6-2-1, lost its last five games.
