Here is a look at the latest individuals in the running to be voted the LSJ high school athlete of the week winner.

Voting is unlimited and open until noon Wednesday to determine a winner, who will be featured in the LSJ.

Caleb Bond, Williamston boys golf

The senior earned medalist honors last week at the CAAC Open and Redwing Invitational. Bond shot a 71 to edge East Lansing’s Drew Miller by a stroke for the title at the CAAC Open at Hawk Hollow. He followed with a round of 71 on Friday to win the Redwing Invitational at St. Johns by four strokes.

Carson Brunk, Potterville boys track and field

The senior continued a strong season by winning the 800 and 1,600 at the Davison Twilight Classic on Friday. Brunk won the 800 at the meet with a time of 2:03.34 and set a personal record with his time of 4:19.10 in the 1,600. His 1,600 time ranks third in Division 3.

Ashlee Dailey, Fowlerville softball

Dailey helped the Gladiators add to their strong season with mercy-rule wins over Waverly and St. Johns. The third baseman/catcher had three RBI during a CAAC Red doubleheader sweep of St. Johns, while collecting three hits. In an 11-0 win over Waverly on Monday, Dailey went 3-for-3 with two doubles, five RBI and two runs scored. Dailey has been one of the top run producers for the Gladiators, who are 18-4.

Annabelle Densmore, Charlotte girls track and field

The junior claimed the title in the 300 hurdles at the Jon Nugent Invitational on Friday, finishing with a personal-best time of 47.68 seconds. She also was part of Charlotte’s runner-up 800 relay. Densmore’s 300 hurdles times is the fifth-fastest among all Division 2 girls this season.

Evan Poulopoulos, Olivet baseball

The senior played a role as the Eagles captured a tournament title at Davenport with victories over Decatur and Pewamo-Westphalia to improve to 18-2. Pouloloupos went 5-for-6 with four RBI during the two victories. He went 2-for-3 in the 2-1 win over P-W in the title game and drove in both runs to help the Eagles move to 18-2.
