Phillies-Nationals to play in MLB Little League Classic on Sunday. Here's how to watch
The Philadelphia Phillies are headed to the little leagues for a special Sunday game to help draw attention to youth sports.
The Washington Nationals will play host to the Phillies in the 6th annual MLB Little League Classic to help promote the Little League World Series in Williamsport, the annual site of the youth tournament located in north central Pennsylvania about two hours west of Allentown.
The game will be played in the friendly confines of Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Fields, a 2,300-seat venue that's a far cry from 42,000-seat Citizens Bank Park in South Philly. The crowd primarily will be made up of Little League Baseball World Series players and their families as well as local residents, according to MLB.
Before they take the field at night, MLB players from both teams will interact with the youth players, participate in pregame ceremonies and watch as the Little League games take place during the day at the baseball complex in Williamsport.

What is the Little League World Series?
The 2023 Little League World Series is a contest between 10 championship teams from the U.S. and 10 others from around the world. Players under the age of 12 will compete in games running through Aug. 27.
No longer a boy’s club, the Little League's charter was changed in 1974 to allow “Girls with Game." So far, 21 girls have made it to the championship series, according to the organization.
