Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 6 game

The New York Jets (2-3) are flying high after the Hackett Bowl, but will can they fly Philadelphia Eagles (5-0) high?

Breece Hall had 22 carries for 177 yards and a score as the Jets beat the Denver Broncos 31-21. Prior to the season, Broncos coach Sean Payton slammed his predecessor, New York offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. The Jets were fired up after forcing three fumbles in the win with Sauce Gardner posting, "Jets Country.......LETS RIDE" on X, mocking Russell Wilson's tagline.

This week won't be as personal as they take on the undefeated Eagles, who handled the Los Angeles Rams 23-14 last week behind 303 passing yards from Jalen Hurts and two total touchdowns, one of which highlighted the "Brotherly Shove." Jalen Carter and Haason Reddick each had two sacks of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The Jets and Eagles have faced off 12 times with Philadelphia winning every matchup.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 30, Jets 16

If the 49ers are the best team in the NFL, the Eagles are No. 2. Philly has started 5-0 for the second straight season. The Jets are coming off an emotional win over the Broncos, but the Eagles are in a different class. The Eagles rank in the top 10 in total offense and defense.

Victoria Hernandez: Eagles 28, Jets 17

For the Jets, last week's game was personal and they came to play. They won't be able to muster the same energy not only against the multi-dimensional Jalen Hurts, but against this fierce defense which had four sacks last week. The Eagles get their lucky 13th win in the series.

Safid Deen: Eagles 31, Jets 23

Jalen Hurts might be affected by his ankle injury he suffered last week, but the tush-pushing Eagles are too good and too loaded. They’ll be challenged by the Jets, who are a cohesive bunch and have seen Zach Wilson turn a corner. But the Jets aren’t anywhere close to competing with the defending NFC champs.
