Eagles' AJ Brown gets social media buzzing after stunning catch, breaking NFL record

After a first half that, to put it nicely, was disappointing for the Philadelphia Eagles, AJ Brown gave fans hope for the second half.

Philadelphia was trailing 14-3 near the end of the first half, Brown made a circus catch in the end zone, cutting the Washington Commanders' lead to 14-10. Washington got a 61-yard field goal from Joey Slye to push the lead to 17-10, but the catch made the social media go bonkers.

Brown followed the touchdown with another big catch late in the third quarter to tie the game at 17-17.

AJ Brown sets NFL record

Along with the touchdowns, Brown also set an NFL record for most consecutive games with 125 yards receiving. Brown's reception in the fourth quarter gave him his sixth straight game, breaking Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson's record of five.
