New Philadelphia baseball team wins second straight OHSAA district title

Noah Bollon's clutch hit Wednesday lifted the New Philadelphia baseball team to its second straight Division II district title. His two-run single in the top of the seventh inning gave the Quakers a 5-4 win over Tri-Valley in Coshocton.

Carter Vandall's RBI single scored Carson Long with the game's first run after Long doubled to start the rally. Vandall later singled and scored to tie the game 3-3 in the fifth. Bollon had a key bunt single in that rally, setting up Gaven Blake's game-tying sacrifice fly. Two innings later, Bollon delivered his game-winning hit.
