Penn State vs. Maryland basketball: Stream, injury report, broadcast info for Sunday

After a major road win at Northwestern, Penn State men’s basketball is looking to give its tournament hopes one last push in the regular season finale on Sunday against the Maryland Terrapins. Penn State will still have a chance to make its case for the NCAA Tournament during the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament this week, but a final regular season win against the Terps would be a nice way to go into the Big Ten tournament with some extra confidence.

Maryland took the previous game played between these two schools earlier this season by pulling away for a 74-68 victory in College Park a few weeks ago. The win snapped a four-game losing streak to Penn State in the series, so Jalen Pickett and the Nittany Lions are hoping to rebound in the series in an important game with Selection Sunday one week away.

Here’s how to catch all of the action in the final game of the regular season before Penn State heads to the Big Ten tournament.

Penn State vs. Maryland injury report

Matthew OHaren-USA TODAY Sports

It would seem to be that we may have seen the last of Penn State forward [autotag]Caleb Dorsey[/autotag]. Dorsey has been missing from action for a while now with an undisclosed injury and there has been no mention of when he may return to the court for the Nittany Lions.

Maryland appears to be coming into the final game of the regular season without any injuries to report.

ESPN BPI Outlook

Matthew OHaren-USA TODAY Sports

Penn State has more on the line as far as the NCAA tournament is concerned, and the Nittany Lions have generally played better at home. Plus, the Nittany Lions have won three of the last four games with so much to play for. But the ESPN Basketball Power Index has Penn State getting less than a 50% chance of winning the regular season finale.

The ESPN BPI gives Penn State a 48.1% chance of grabbing a win at home, which gives Maryland a 52.9% chance to celebrate a win.
