The Panthers skipped Mac Jones’ pro day earlier this week but they are present for Zach Wilson’s throwing session today at BYU.

According to Albert Breer at Sports Illustrated, coach Matt Rhule and general manager Scott Fitterer are among the NFL heavyweights who will be watching Wilson throw.

Wilson will likely be off the board by the time the Panthers are on the clock next month. Most mock drafts have him going to the Jets at No. 2 overall after the Jaguars select Trevor Lawrence.

That said, anything can happen between now and draft day and there’s always a chance he drops. Carolina might also consider trading up for Wilson given the possibility that all four of this year’s top QB prospects could be gone by No. 8.
