Packers rookie WR Romeo Doubs carted off with ankle injury

The Green Bay Packers just can’t get a break when it comes to their receiving corps.

Rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs left Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with an ankle injury, and was carted to the locker room. Doubs is officially questionable to return.

The most pleasant surprise in an otherwise lackluster group of pass-catchers for the Packers so far this season, Doubs suffered the injury on his first catch of the game Sunday.

A fourth-round pick out of Nevada, Doubs made an immediate impact in the preseason, and carried that success over to the first regular season of his promising NFL career.
