Packers GM Brian Gutekunst attends Penn State pro day

The busy pro day circuit continued Friday for Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst, who was in Happy Valley to see Penn State’s pro day.

In just the last week, Gutekunst has been in attendance at pro days for Iowa State, Ohio State and Alabama.

Here are the following players were scheduled to work out:

CB Joey Porter Jr.
S Ji’Ayir Brown
TE Brenton Strange
WR Parker Washington
IOL Juice Scruggs
WR Mitchell Tinsley
DL PJ Mustipher
QB Sean Clifford
DL Nick Tarburton
LB Jonathan Sutherland
K Jake Pinegar
P Barney Amor
LS Chris Stoll

Would the Packers consider Porter Jr. if he fell to 15? Brown, Strange and Washington all play positions of need, and Scruggs is an intriguing interior offensive line prospect.

Brown ran a slow 40-yard dash at the combine and could raise his stock if he can improve it during the pro day.

Last year, the Packers drafted offensive tackle Rasheed Walker out of Penn State. The only other player drafted from Penn State during the Gutekunst/Ted Thompson eras was tight end Andrew Quarless in 2010.
