OU softball’s 2024 schedule is complete: See the full list of Sooners' opponents, dates

NORMAN — OU softball will open Love's Field on Friday, March 1 with a doubleheader, the school announced Tuesday with the unveiling of the schedule for the three-time defending champions.

The Sooners will take on Miami (Ohio) at 2 p.m. and Liberty at 5 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for before the game.

OU will take on Louisiana and Liberty the next day before taking on Louisiana again March 3.

The schedule features 22 games at the new stadium, ending with the Bedlam series March 3-5 in the Big 12 finale.

OU's season begins Feb. 8 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and also features trips to Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Cathedral City, California.

The Sooners will also get a tuneup in at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium, when they play the opener of their Big 12 series against Baylor there March 22.

They'll also play Tulsa at the home of the Women's College World Series on April 16 in a mid-week game.

TV schedules will be released at a later time.
