Steve Davis

He will be inducted posthumously. A Sallisaw alum, Davis played quarterback at OU and led the Sooners to a 32-1-1 record after taking over as the starter in 1973. During that time, OU won three Big Eight championships and two national titles.

Patty McGraw-Coatney

The Ponca City native earned All-Big Eight honors twice at Oklahoma State after claiming two Oklahoma Girls State Junior Championships and the Oklahoma Girls State High School title in 1977. McGraw-Coatney was named head coach of the University of Central Oklahoma’s first-ever women’s golf team in 2003 and led the Bronchos to a pair of conference championships in her first two years at the school.

Mike Metheny

He spent 40 years at Southeastern Oklahoma State as a baseball player, graduate assistant, assistant coach and head coach. He led Southeastern to its lone national championship in its second season at the Division II level in 2000. Metheny finished with a 1,324-679-3 (.660) record.

Ryan Minor

He played baseball and basketball at OU from 1992-95. Minor helped the baseball program win the 1994 national championship and was a two-time All-American in basketball. The Philadelphia 76ers selected him in the second round of the 1996 NBA Draft and the Baltimore Orioles took him in the 33rd round of the MLB Draft the same year. Minor played in 142 MLB games before becoming a minor league coach and manager.

Roy Williams

OU legend Roy Williams flies into Texas quarterback Chris Simms during the 2001 Red River Rivalry. The Sooner safety knocked the ball loose, and Teddy Lehman caught it for a victory-clinching interception return for a touchdown. Now known as the Superman play, the moment ranks as the greatest in the history of the rivalry.

One of the best defensive backs in OU football history, Williams helped the Sooners claim the 2000 national championship as a sophomore and the following year won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy (nation’s best defensive player) and the Jim Thorpe Award (nation’s best defensive back). Williams was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft and played in Dallas for seven seasons. The California native was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2003 and five-time Pro Bowler (2003-2007). Williams finished his career with Cincinnati, where he played from 2009-2010.

Shelby Wilson

The Ponca City graduate had a 34-2 record while wrestling at Oklahoma State, earning two NCAA runner-up finishes and winning three Big Eight championships. Wilson won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics in Rome in the freestyle lightweight (67 kilograms) division and was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1982.
