New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 10 game

The playoff chances for the New Orleans Saints (5-4) and Minnesota Vikings (5-4) continue to go up, and they could each get another boost with a win on Sunday.

New Orleans forced five turnovers against the Chicago Bears while the offense did enough to get the Saints over .500 for the first time since Week 3. The NFC South leaders, New Orleans could get more separation in the division standings with a third straight victory.

Just when things look to get worse in Minnesota, the Vikings find a way to win. Despite never practicing with the team, newly acquired quarterback Joshua Dobbs came in relief and guided Minnesota to a comeback victory for the team's fourth-straight win, and giving the Vikings a sense of optimism for the rest of the season.

Lorenzo Reyes: Vikings 19, Saints 17

New Orleans has been one of the more disappointing teams against the spread this season and the Vikings should still be competitive with Joshua Dobbs having more time to acclimate to the offensive playbook.

Tyler Dragon: Saints 24, Vikings 20

What Josh Dobbs did in Week 9 was admirable. Dobbs should be a little more comfortable under center this week. However, the Saints have a top-10 defense, and their 18 takeaways are tied for an NFL best.

Safid Deen: Vikings 27, Saints 24

Joshua Dobbs was a ray of light for the Vikings last week in their win over the Falcons, renewing the energy within the franchise after Kirk Cousins’ Achilles tear. Sometimes motivating factors like this can galvanize teams, and it’s why I’m taking the Vikings over the Saints even though I probably shouldn’t.

Victoria Hernandez: Vikings 27, Saints 24

Josh Dobbs was the pleasant surprise of last week. Apparently, he didn’t even know his teammates’ names as he had three total touchdowns in the Vikings victory. The team will only gel more with another week of practice while the Saints’ inconsistency can’t keep up.

Jordan Mendoza: Vikings 21, Saints 20

This is a game that could go either way, given that both offenses are kind of shaky at the moment. New Orleans is starting to find a rhythm, but despite all the injuries, the Vikings are rejuvenated with Joshua Dobbs under center. Minnesota pulls out another win to make it five straight.
