Ohio State receiver Garrett Wilson becomes first Buckeye selected in 2022 NFL draft
The 2022 NFL Draft is underway and we have our first Ohio State Buckeye off the board as the New York Jets have selected Garrett Wilson with the tenth selection overall. Although most expected Wilson to be the first wide receiver off the board that unfortunately did not happen as he was taken behind Drake London from USC, but it appears that the New York Jets are more than ecstatic to have the former Buckeye star land in their lap.
Time will tell where the other Buckeyes land, but going from a five-star recruit to a first-rounder tells you a ton about the career arc of Wilson and his time in Columbus.
