The Buckeyes' 93-83 road loss to Iowa was watched by 3.39 million viewers according to FOX Sports. In Iowa's 10-point win, guard Caitlin Clark broke the NCAA Division 1 all-time scoring record in both men's and women's basketball.

According to FOX Sports, the Ohio State-Iowa game was the most watched regular-season women's college basketball game on any network since 1999. It was also the most-watched women's college basketball game in FOX Sports history.
According to SportsMediaWatch, the Ohio State-Iowa game was the second-most watched college basketball game during the 2023-24 season behind Michigan State vs. Arizona. The Buckeyes vs. Hawkeyes had more viewers than the first Duke vs. North Carolina game.
Between 3-3:14 p.m., viewership peaked at 4.42 million viewers.
Clark needed 18 points to break Pete Maravich's all-time scoring record in NCAA Division 1 basketball. She finished with 25 points against the Buckeyes.
Ohio State, the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Big Ten tournament, will play either Illinois or Maryland in the tournament quarterfinal at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
