Ohio high school football scores for Greater Akron/Summit County | See who won
The final week of the high school football regular season kicks off tonight with one huge nonleague game and several others that will decide league titles.
The game that will draw eyes from around the state is 8-1 St. Edward at 8-0 Archbishop Hoban. Although the result won't have any bearing on a conference title race, the winner will take significant momentum into the OHSAA state playoffs a week from now.
Meanwhile, Suburban League juggernauts Aurora (8-1, 6-0) and Highland (8-1, 6-0) will meet for the American Conference title on the Hornets' home field, Mogadore (7-2, 3-0) will play at Rootstown (8-0, 3-0) for the Portage Trail Conference crown, and Walsh Jesuit (8-1, 2-0) travels to Padua (4-5, 1-1) with the Crown Conference title on the line.
Norton is also looking to cap an undefeated season against visiting Ravenna, and Manchester will host CVCA in the final game at James R. France Stadium before it moves to its new stadium next season.
