Off Their Game Week 10 - Kareem Hunt

With Nick Chubb set to return, how much will he dig into Hunt's workload?

Video Transcript

- All right, Matt. Who else are you sending to the bench?

- Yeah, I'm going to send Kareem Hunt there. And I get it. You might not have enough options to throw him on the bench. But I do think he's going to be off his game, because Nick Chubb is back, folks! Nick Chubb ranks first in rushing yards over expectation, per Next Gen Stats. And he's first in yards after contact per attempt. To put those [INAUDIBLE] advanced metrics notes into human terms, Nick Chubb is one of the best, if not the very best ball carriers in the NFL.

And Kareem Hunt, he just hadn't gotten it done. Like his game hadn't been all that good this year anyways. He's 18th and 5th in those stats that I just read off above, and his touch totals has sort of fluctuated all year. Because he's just not the same caliber player that Nick Chubb is. I think that has been proven this season. I think the Browns are going to saddle up Nick Chubb for a bunch of work against a Houston Texans run defense that has allowed the second most rushing yards this year. I love Nick Chubb in this spot. Don't love Kareem Hunt as much with Chubb coming back.
