Odell Beckham Jr. helps Rams celebrate Super Bowl win at SoFi Stadium

The Los Angeles Rams signed veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal last November, and it worked pretty well for a while. From Week 10 through the Super Bowl, Beckham caught 48 passes on 70 targets for 593 yards and seven touchdowns. He was on his way to torching the Bengals’ defense in that Super Bowl until he suffered a torn ACL, and his football future has been in doubt ever since.

The Rams have reportedly kept Beckham’s locker up, and one never knows if there’s a hush-hush deal to re-sign Beckham when he’s healthy.

As the Rams prepared to defend their NFL title Thursday night at SoFi Stadium, multiple reports indicated that Beckham was on the field.

Turns out, there was a specific reason for that. When the Rams unveiled their 2021 championship banner at the stadium, former left tackle Andrew Whitworth and Beckham were at the heart of the celebration, with Beckham hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Two days ago, Beckham joked about signing with whichever team won the opener.
