October 2023 auto sales report: Top 10 best-selling vehicles of the month

Strong sales in October

Auto sales saw a boost from September and year-over-year from October 2022. There were 1.2 million units that left showrooms. Overall, that was almost a 10% lift from September and nearly a 2% boost from October 2022.

6. Tesla Model Y

Year-over-year: 55.5% increase

5. Honda CR-V

Year-over-year: 53% increase

4. Ram Ram pickup

Year-over-year: 0.7% decrease

3. Chevrolet Silverado

Year-over-year: 12% decrease

2. Toyota RAV4

Year-over-year: 19.2% increase

1. Ford F-Series

Year-over-year: 5.1% decrease
