Oakland Raiders Current Stats
Broken down in the simplest of terms, there’s only one number Oakland Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie is keen for.
“Obviously, you would to be more in the win column, for sure,” he said referencing the team’s disappointing 4-5 record. “But, our record is what it is, and our play is what it is, so we’ll focus on getting better and winning the next game. That’s where we are.”
Getting better and winning will come against a stout foe. With the bye week gone, the Raiders are prepping for a Mexico City showdown with the surging New England Patriots (7-2 and winners of five straight).
Did the bye week give Oakland ample opportunity to self-scout and self-assess and produce a better outcome this coming Sunday?
We all saw what happened when the Raiders had ten days to prep and they face planted against the Buffalo Bills. The numbers show as much.

Passing
Derek Carr- The franchise quarterback carries a 176 of 270 completion mark (65.2 percent), throwing for 1,954 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Carr’s longest throw this season is 64 yards and he’s been sacked 10 times.
Rushing
Marshawn Lynch – Oakland’s treasured Beast Mode galloped for 323 yards on 86 totes (3.8 per carry) and four scores. His longest rumble on the year is a 22-yard touchdown gallop.
Receiving
Jared Cook- The free-agent addition has been a revelation at tight end with 39 grabs and 499 yards. His ever-growing rapport with Carr has been the brightest spot on offense.
Kicking
Giorgio Tavecchio. The former Cal Golden Bear has drilled 12 of 14 field goals (85.7 percent) with a long of 53.
Tackles
TJ Carrie. The veteran cornerback tops the team with 50 total tackles and solo stops with 44.
Sacks
Khalil Mack. The stalwart defender has 4.5 sacks on the year but hasn’t registered a quarterback takedown since Oct. 19.
Interceptions
Zero. A travesty of a statistic, I know.
Punting
Marquette King. The mighty-legged eccentric one holds a 50.3 average per boot with a long of 65. More impressively, he’s dropped 17 of his 37 punts inside the opponent’s 20 with only two as touchbacks.
Kick Return
Cordarrelle Patterson. The speedy vet has a healthy 30.8 per yard average on 13 returns with a long of 49.
Punt Return
Jalen Richard. Rocket boasts a paltry 5.4 per yard average on 16 returns with a long of 13.
Scoring
Tavecchio. With 12 field goals and 22 extra points, the 27-year-old southpaw kicker accounts for 58 of the team’s 196 points.
