What's the new weather forecast for Mets vs. Brewers on Friday?

With rain taking over the area on Thursday, those heading to Citi Field shouldn't have to worry about precipitation the following day.

According to the National Weather Service on Wednesday, there's only a 30 percent chance of rain prior to 9 a.m. After that, the forecast is clear with current projections having it as mostly sunny with a high of 54 degrees.

Ironically, this is the second straight season that the Mets home opener has been postponed. Last year, New York's first home game was also supposed to be on a Thursday but was ultimately moved to Friday due to rain. The Mets are hoping they'll also have the same result, as they won with ease in a 9-3 victory over the Miami Marlins.
