- Jaylen Nowell of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been lights out to begin this season, and is now a serious contender for the Sixth Man of the Year Award. Anthony Edwards, of all people, called him the best scorer on the team and said he was "must see TV," and I could not agree more.

Minnesota has used him at three different positions-- point guard, shooting guard, and small forward-- and I think they'll continue to experiment with him as the primary ball handler with the second unit. Through 21 minutes per game through six games, he's averaging 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.2 blocks, and 1.5 triples on 43% shooting.

The scary part is that he shot 47.5% last season so there's still some room to grow here. He wasn't even drafted in a bunch of leagues. And he's still available in over half of Yahoo! leagues. So if he's sitting on your waiver wire, you need to go out there and add him immediately.
