You Can Now Rent "The Godfather" Mansion on Airbnb

While there are no shortage of former celebrity homes you can rent on Airbnb, few can allow you to step into the set of a cult classic film quite like spending a month living in the iconic mansion from The Godfather. The Staten Island home (yes, it's based in the NYC borough, not in Long Island as the film suggests) whose exterior is instantly recognizable from the 1972 classic, is now available book through Airbnb for the month of August. If you ever wanted to live like a Corleone, this is your ultimate chance.

Built in 1930, the 6,248 square-foot property has undergone extensive renovations since inclusion The Godfather. The five bedroom, seven bathroom home boasts a large saltwater pool, a basement level pub, a game room, and a gym.

Guests will have private access to the residence, which is just a short ferry ride from Manhattan or easily accessible from New Jersey and Brooklyn via bridge. Currently listed for $50 per night, the rental is only available for a long-term, 30-night stay– making it the perfect summer getaway for a single family or group of cinephile friends.
