Notable social media reactions to Michigan football allegedly stealing signs report
The NCAA just can’t help itself when it comes to Michigan football it seems.
With the ongoing investigation over whether head coach Jim Harbaugh misled the NCAA over purchasing a cheeseburger for a recruit, the governing body of college athletics is now looking into whether Michigan football is stealing signs from opponents.
Which isn’t illegal, by the way.
Of course, the allegations include whether the Wolverines are sending staffers to opponent games, which is illegal at the college football level. Nonetheless, several Michigan football social media personalities as well as members of the media at large had some big reactions to the news.
Here are the best reactions we could find on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The NCAA operates through a series of leaks to media members without providing full context of accusations against Michigan.
Michigan isn't permitted to comment on allegations which leads to the NCAA being able to shape the narrative.
In short, the NCAA remains pathetic.

I bet Jim Harbaugh has a hand signal for the NCAA and it won’t be hard to decipher what he’s saying.

How could it POSSIBLY be against the rules to have people go scout future opponents in person?!? High schools do this.
It’s the lowest tech, most old school way to scout. How in the WORLD could this be a violation?!?
Get out of here with this nonsense. https://t.co/74nthay2mc

Unless there's compelling evidence to suggest that Michigan had coaches in games that weren't in the report, you're suggesting Michigan possibly, maybe, broke in-person scouting rules.
Could it be… a nothing burger?
