'NOT human': Watch Garrett Wilson's highlight-reel touchdown catch for New York Jets

Ohio State reminded its social media followers who Garrett Wilson was Tuesday morning.

Trailing 13-6 at the end of the fourth quarter of the Monday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills, Wilson lined up one-on-one in the red zone. Jets quarterback Zach Wilson targeted the former Ohio State wide receiver, who bobbled a one-handed catch before securing the reception for a touchdown.

"Good morning, just a reminder (Garrett Wilson) is NOT human," Ohio State football posted on social media.

"About last night... it's confirmed (Garrett Wilson) NOT human," the social media account posted less than an hour later.

Wilson's touchdown catch, one of five in the Jets' 22-16 win against the Bills, caught the attention of another former Ohio State wide receiver and NFL Hall of Fame member.

"OMG (Garrett Wilson)," Cris Carter posted Monday.

After the win, Zach Wilson admitted that the fade to Garrett Wilson was not the original play call.

"We had a run play called," Zach Wilson told reporters. "And you guys know G, the dude's pushing me all day: 'Throw the fade, throw the fade, throw the fade.' And I want to."

While Zach Wilson was told to "hand the ball off" from offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, the quarterback said he couldn't help but look toward the former Ohio State wide receiver.

"I just looked out there and saw G, and I'm like, 'I'm throwing this one up,'" Zach Wilson said. "He went up there and made a play. It wasn't the best throw — dude was out there boxing him out. That dude has unbelievable ball skills. He always finds a way to come down with it. He's somebody I just have to keep leaning onto."

Garrett Wilson on Aaron Rodgers: 'Prayers for 8'

Aaron Rodgers will likely not be Garrett Wilson's quarterback for the rest of the 2023 season.

After one pass attempt and four snaps in the Jets' Monday Night Football win, Rodgers was carted off the field with what is now believed to be an Achilles injury, an injury coach Robert Saleh confirmed to be "not good" after the game.

Garrett Wilson posted his thoughts on the injury after the Jets' season-opening win.

Garrett Wilson finished with five receptions on five targets for 34 yards and a touchdown.
