North's Woelfle an HBCA Coach of the Year
Mar. 1—Terre Haute North's Todd Woelfle has been named one of the 2024 Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association district coaches of the year.
Woelfle's Patriots took a 21-3 record and an 18-game winning streak into their sectional game Friday night against Brownsburg at Terre Haute South.
Chosen from girls programs in southern Indiana were Lacey Higgins of Barr-Reeve in District 1, Kyle Brasher of Gibson Southern in District 2, Mike Armstrong of Franklin in District 3 and Carrie Daniels of Scottsburg in District 4.
Woelfle represented District 1 among boys coaches and is joined by Nathan Fleenor of Evansville Harrison from District 2, Aaron Garrett of Batesville in District 3 and David Benter of Brownstown Central in District 4.
