Northern Lakes Conference Golf Meet at Eberhart

MISHAWAKA – Led by medalist Brock Reschly, the Northridge Raiders followed up their 7-0 dual season with a four-stroke victory over Warsaw in Saturday’s Northern Lakes Conference boys golf tournament at the par-70 Eberhart-Petro Golf Course.

Reschly, a senior, shot a one-over-par 71 to lead the Raiders, whose Ken Brewster was named coach of the year. The Raiders totaled 311 to best coach Jack Carpenter’s Tigers. Reschly’s round was three strokes better than the 74s carded by NorthWood senior Earl Williams and Warsaw’s Aidan Bowell.

NorthWood totaled 328 to finish third in the tournament and in the conference race ahead of fourth-place Wawasee (339). Concord (349), Goshen (350), Plymouth (362) and tourney host Mishawaka (366) followed in the tournament.

The 10-man all-NLC team included Reschly, Bowell, Williams, Craig, Goshen sophomore Todd Kauffman, Northridge’s Conner Hochstetler, Warsaw’s Breckin Christner, Northridge’s Coby Hochstetler, Wawasee senior Vaughn Dyson and Plymouth freshman Dan Nguyen.
