Nolensville Little League vs. Nevada: Little League World Series score, live updates

Nolensville Little League continues its Little League World Series run with Tuesday's elimination game against Henderson, Nevada in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

After winning 8-1 in Friday's LLWS opener, Nolensville lost 6-2 to Seattle, Washington on Monday.

Nolensville will have to win three games in three games to return to the United States Championship Game on Saturday.

Tuesday's game begins at 2 p.m. CT at Lamade Stadium, and follow along with our live updates below.

Sixth inning

Nevada 6th: McCauley gets two out on the first two pitches of the inning. Strikeout No. 12 ends the game.

Lucas McCauley strikes out 12 in a complete game two-hitter. Stella Weaver's run in the 5th was necessary insurance and ended up being the go-ahead run.

"That was the best game I've ever pitched," McCauley said to ESPN postgame.

Nolensville gets the Rhode Island-California winner tomorrow.

Nolensville 6th: Corbin Cyphers walks, but nothing else in the top of the 6th.

Fifth inning

Nevada 5th: Nevada leads off with a double. Runner scores on an infield single. Nolensville 2, Nevada 1

McCauley has struck out 11 batters. To the 6th.

Nolensville 5th: Stella Weaver singles. Gideon Shepler also singles, and there's runners on the corners with two out.

Weaver scores on a wild pitch. Nolensville 2, Nevada 0

Weaver, by the way, set the LLWS record for hits by an American girl with her single earlier in the inning.

Fourth inning

Nevada 4th: 12 up, 12 down.

Nolensville 4th: Jace Barney hammers a double that one-hops the wall in right field to lead off the inning. He moves to third base on a passed ball.

With two out, McCauley drives Barney in with an RBI single through the middle.

Nolensville 1, Nevada 0

Third inning

Nevada 3rd: McCauley has retired nine Henderson batters in order.

Nolensville 3rd: Nolan Gifford, the Nevada pitcher, is dealing. He retires Nolensville in order.

Second inning

Nevada 2nd: McCauley retires the side in order. 1-2-3 inning.

Nolensville 2nd: 1-2-3 inning. Scoreless after an inning and a half.

First inning

Nevada 1st: McCauley strikes out the side. Not a bad start!

Nolensville 1st: Again the visiting team, Nolensville will be the first team up to bat. Nash Carter reaches to start the game via an error by the Nevada shortstop. That'll be all in the top of the first.

Lucas McCauley will be the starting pitcher while batting second.
