Nils van der Poel dominates competition in 10K, immediately releases training guide

Swedish speedskater Nils van der Poel dominated the 10,000-meter race Saturday and immediately let his opponents know about it. Shortly after van der Poel set a world record during his gold medal performance, he released a training guide for anyone who wants to get on his level.

The guide — titled "How to skate a 10K and also half a 10K" — is available for download. It contains 62 pages of strategies, practice schedules and tips for skaters who wish to be as dominant as van der Poel.

It's quite the flex for van der Poel to have a guide ready to go immediately after winning another gold medal, but it's tough to criticize considering van Der Poel's dominance. He already took home a gold medal in the 5,000-meter race last Sunday.

Saturday's performance earned van der Poel yet another gold medal.

Van der Poel's performance in the 5,000-meter set an Olympic record and his performance in the 10,000-meter set a world record. Clearly, he's doing something right.

If you're ambition and athletic enough, you can follow in van der Poel's footsteps. Just download his training guide, commit your life to following his exact schedule and you can be just like van der Poel.

That's not as catchy as "be like Mike," but "drills like Nils" does have a nice ring to it.
